Morris (IL) High School tight end Danny Friend has seen his recruitment pick up after a breakout junior season. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound target was honored as one of the state of Illinois’ best players at the Tom Lemming All-Area banquet in December. Friend has strong interest in Northwestern after a visit this season.
